I recently got a cheap (NZ$30) GPS unit working on my bike, primarily for security.

I’ve written it up, in case anyone else wants to follow my lead.

Cool project. 3G trackers should be available for not too much more?

I haven’t investigated the price of trackers but $60 still sounds cheap.
