A few mentions lately of making DR headers all nice n shiny got me a little motivated, so today I spent most of the afternoon removing the paint then wet sanding from 200 to 1200 grit. Got it looking pretty sharp, put it back together and went for a 10km spin…needless to say it’s no longer shiny silver. The black paint did a good job of hiding the red glow!
Yep, they do that due to running a little lean.

Actually your bike looks a lot like mine with the B&B Bash plate..
