Honda has recognised that the Honda Cub in it’s more off-road orientated variations like the CT110 Postie bike has proved popular for adventurers, so has announced a new adventure focused model, the CT125 Hunter Cub.

The new Hunter Cub has a lot of off-road focused upgrades from the standard Honda Cub including 40mm more ground clearance, 20mm more suspension travel, higher handle bars for better standing ergonomics, high level scrambler styled exhaust, 20mm higher seat, high mounted air intake and easy access air filter, bashplate, and disc brakes front and rear with ABS on the front wheel only.
The fuel tank capacity has also been increased by 1.6 litres to 5.3 litres which according to Honda should give around 350km of range from the stock tank. The frame has also been beefed up around the headstock to handle rough terrain.

Power from the 124cc motor comes in at 8.7Hp with 11Nm of Torque and it is equipped with electric AND kick start.

There’s other little styling features as well, the indicators are mounted in places that mean they are less likely to get damaged if you fall off and behind the seat is a solid looking luggage rack.
