Well this has got to be embarrassing for some riders.

The Honda X-ADV mega scooter, ridden by Renato Zocchi was entered in Class 2 of teh Gibraltar Rally which is an open class of all bikes from 601cc to 950cc so included on bikes such as many of KTM’s big offerings, the 950 Adventure and Super Enduro, KTM 790 Adventure R, KTM 640 Adventure and 690 Enduro and KTM 660 Rally, plus bikes from other manufacturers like the Husqvarna 701 Enduro, and BMW F800 GS Adventure.

Apart from an aftermarket exhaust and raised and tuned suspension the bike was stock with no frame or engine modifications.

Renato Zocchi has proved himself as a Rally rider many times having won the Pharaohs Rally before, plus several finishes in the Dakar and Baja 1000 events, plus he’s won multiple Italian motocross national championships and placed third in the motocross world championship.

The 2019 Gibraltar Rally covered 7,000 kilometers over 14 stages starting in Poland and finishing in Spain and is made up of asphalt and dirt roads, rocky mule tracks, river crossings and mud and grass sections.
