Jialing is owned by the chinese government and among many other things produces sidecars for the chinese military using a 600cc single cylinder motorcycle, the sidecars are also available for civilian purchase in China and Europe.
New Zealand has a Jialing distributor (http://www.jialingfarmbikes.co.nz) however they focus on the farming sector bringing in small bore off road bikes for farmers.
I spoke with Jailing Farm Bikes NZ earlier this year about whether they were looking at bringing the 600cc sidecar to NZ and their response was “We are about to announce 2 new bikes for road use, a 150cc for road and trail and a 200cc sport bike, but the 600 with side car will not be coming.”
Something I recently discovered about the Jailing JH500B is that the sidecar wheel steers along with the front wheel via a cable mechanism under the fork yokes.
I’m not sure at what ratio the sidecar wheel turns when the front wheel turns.
