I have been following this guy’s rebuild of his bike. He is originally from the Netherlands and has been riding round the world but has fetched up in Invercargill (as you do) and has completed a massive rebuild of his trusty Transalp. He has documented 60 days of rebuild and if you can handle a fair bit of loud music its well worth a watch. He has had a massive amount of help from a friend to get there.
I’ve been following him, since he entered New Zealand 🙂
I had seen that but didn’t realise it was all being done here.
There seems to be few overseas people touring here at present…they must be listening to us when say non peak tourist times are better. The Ride For smiles couple are here too I think. At least they are posting lots of photos of the mainland on advrider.
