I need a few bits for my R80 tug

Left side exhaust pipe – My bike has 2 right side exhausts fitted and the one on the left doesn’t have a hanger to fix to the bike.

Headlight ears – I’m pretty sure the RS fairing will have to come off to accomodate wider higher bars, so I’ll need another way to mount the headlight. I’m wanting factory ears, not the aftermarket ones you can buy off Trade Me.

Gaiters – to protect the fork legs once the fairing etc is gone.

Seat hinge, one of the later square ones.

    Exhaust Spanner

The best place to go is motorworks BMW which is in Yorkshire UK. They have a brilliant web site and have got everything new or secondhand. Really good to deal with and fast delivery, and their prices are realistic.
    Cheers:P

Phew, this is an old topic. It’s been built, ridden, sold on and is in the process of being rebuilt again.

Here’s the original build thread: https://www.adventureridingnz.co.nz/forums/topic/eddies-bmw-r80-velorex-562-build/

@stephen-clark has it now and is in the process of rebuilding it into more gravel orientated.
