Set google maps to bicycle to find this one. This road actually starts at the intersection of Sanders and Three Brothers Roads, above Roxburgh. Take the road and bridge over the Clutha to Roxburgh East then right on Teviot and pretty much straight away left onto Wright Road and wind up the hill. Turns into a glorious gravel road. Carry on onto Sanders Road which is more lovely gravel. Not obvious when Lake Onslow Road starts but doesn’t matter until you reach Tima Burn Road. (You come up from Tima Burn Road if you started at Millers Flat) At this point the lovely gravel disappears and it becomes a dirt track best ridden in the dry. Its great right now (just graded) but won’t stay that way if there is much rain up there. Turn right at the intersection with Bridge Huts Road to stay on Lake Onslow Rd. Follow your nose to Lake Onslow.
After a stop at the lake, go on through to civilization on the other side near Paerau. Head north along Linnburn Runs Road and go through gate where it say “Road Not for General Use” Excellent track for quite a distance and very enjoyable riding.
No gpx files but its all on google maps, if you cant see it remember you’re a bicycle and not a car. You pass the end of Old Dunstan Road coming from Poulburn Dam on Linnburn Runs Road.

Thanks to @brainflex we now have a GPX track download for this.
That creek looks like Old Dunstan road. On deep creek road today it was 18 inches deep.
