The details of the KLR Ramblers November ride as follow:

  • Date: 18 November 2017
  • Time: 9 am
  • Meeting point: Pokeno – Pokeno Fuel Stop (Corner of Great South Road and Market Street) You can adjust the tire pressure and top-up your fuel there if need to.
  • Where are we going? All the details are here
  • How are we going to ride? We are expecting you to be able to navigate through the ride on your own by using a map or with a GPS if you have one. (Files and information for both means of navigation are here.)
  • The whole ride will take approximately 4 – 4.5 hours and will cover roughly 170 km gravel and sealed road.

    Thank you for turning up for this ride in such an awesome number! I hope everyone enjoyed the ride despite the unexpected road closure which “slightly” altered out route. 🙂

    I did a similar route on Sunday myself. Was on the Klondyke by 9:50 am…She’s in a bit of a state allright, then onto Baker then Brien rd, where I came across a round of the Auckland Orienteering Champs, the only life I saw on the Gravel all day, then onto Ponganui rd and back out to Onewhero..Just a quick loop. I was back in Drury before 1pm. What time do you think you guys hit Klondyke that morning?
