The Challenge.
To take a road legal 50cc scooter to places no scooter has been before, have one hell of a trip & raise funds for charity.
The Ride.
4 days in total, exploring some of the ‘Top of the South’s’ great tracks and locations, starting from Hanmer Springs.
While some open road sections are required to connect the special stages, most of the route will be traversing dirt roads and 4wd tracks, with a few sections that don’t even count as roads!
What to expect.
This is no fully-catered, hold-your-hand, quiet weekend! Budget accommodation is supplied & while there will be support vehicles, this trip should be seen as a group of like-minded people doing it the hard way. Making it to the end in one piece will require a ‘pitch-in to help each other’ attitude, from helping serve up meals to lifting scooters across rivers. The more you put in the more you’ll get out of it.
…and if taking 50cc scooters into the wilds of NZ isn’t enough, special challenge events along the way will add to the mayhem!
Entry.
Due to logistics this event is limited to 24 riders.
Entrants must have a car or motorcycle licence and be reasonably fit.
