Te Awa – Hiranui Roads are a couple flowing two-three track gravel roads between the Farm Rd and Porangahau Rd (Route 52). The road goes through rolling farmland hill country, and has some nice views South over Wallingford and Mangaorapa. Good for a quick skid or adding something interesting to the North end of Route 52. Combine with Clareinch – Mangakuri Roads to keep the gravel flowing, then either Middle Road or Kahuranaki Road for twisty seal into Napier/Hastings.
