It seems someone in Panama doesn’t like us and is trying to take the site down by making a huge amount of requests to the site. So far we have exceeded our monthly allowable CPU usage at the hosting provider which has made them unhappy.
Hopefully it doesn’t get to the stage where the site goes down but there is a risk it might. in the last 24 hours we have exceeded our maximum cpu usage allowance by 250%, usually we use about 20% of our allowed amount.

It looks like we have survived, we found a few issues this morning including a huge amount of requests from an IP address in Panama that was blocked.
