Aotearoa Road lies just North of the Pureora Forest Park between Tokoroa and Otorohanga. From it’s North end the road is fairly open and smooth with a good solid base however the middle section and most of the southern end gets tight and twisty with a much thicker, looser, and rougher grade of metal covering the road.
There are a number of properties along Aotearoa Road so it is likely you will strike farm traffic. While tracking Aotearoa Road I came across a small tractor in the twisty section and even that took up 90% of the road so caution is advised and keep on your side of the road.
