Endean Road is another track for the light weight plated enduro riders. Running off Paradise Valley Road just out of Rotorua it road starts out as nice gravel but quickly descends into a rutty, muddy mess. In theory Endean Road goes all the way through to South Road just out of Mamaku however there doesn’t seem to be any formed track that sits within the defined road corridor for the western part of the road.

If you venture into Endean Road and get a better gps track and/or some photo’s share them below and/or send them in to us at the email address at the bottom of the page.

I got an email in my inbox a few days ago from someone who I think is involved in the 4×4 community saying that Endean Road is now open, apparently it is closed over Winter/the wet season.

Who’s going to volunteer to check it out and GPS it for the website?

Bump for this one

Endean road is located just past the lion park up at Paradise valley, Rotorua.

It’s very popular with the 4×4 crowd so gets pretty roughed up with big holes.

And that’s why I am waiting for it to dry out before riding it.

The info I have is that this track is pretty rough so it’s up to you to decide if you want to try it but I’m good for Saturday, meet up at Pongakawa Valley road junction with Rotoehu Rd and ride from there? 9.30?

The road wasn’t as bad as I expected. Holds water but most wet bits can be ridden around. Unfortunately there is a locked gate at approx 6km in, we tried to find a way around it but found more locked gates.Still a fun little ride in and out plus the seal up to it is fun.

Great little ride with Black Betty and Brianflex, no where near as bad as expected but disappointingly short…

Black Betty got my video up for you to check it out for yourself.

I had a nosy up the beginning of Endean road while over Rotorua way, a good track for small light bikes, probably good postie bike territory.

I only went in 100 meters or so so all these pics are from that.
