At it’s North End Kaimango Road runs off SH31, the main road to Kawhia. Kaimango Road winds it’s way North to South through the Pirongia Forest Park to the southern edge of the forest park where it veers West and hugs the edge of the park. A few kilometres through farmland and it’s back into the trees again before ending at a 3 way intersection. At the intersection you can carry on to Hauturu Road for a longer gravel run.

While this road has quite a few corners none of them are particularly sharp or steep so this track should be suitable for riders with little gravel experience.
