Lyndon Rd is named after Lake Lyndon which it runs alongside and connects the Lake Coleridge area with SH73. Usually all 15km of the road is well graded however there are a few tighter sections and at times it can become rutted in places.

Northern entrance from Arthur’s pass

1 December 2020. A nice easy ride and good gravel all through as Eddie says. You can see and access Lake Coleridge from this road. Cuts out a lot of boring road if you want to go from South Canterbury over Arthurs, and vice versa.

2 March 2024 – Recently graded with deep chunky gravel in a lot of corners.
