10 km of a mixture of fast and slow sections, Mangamahoe Central Road climbs quite high where there are good views. This track can be linked with Bartons Road to go further North, and also can be the access point onto Bowen Road (gravel), and the continuation of Mangamahoe Central Road (gravel). There is T junction half way along where you turn left towards Ihurua if travelling along the road North/Eastwards.
