To date Chang Jiang sidecars have been known as a poor quality cousin to Ural sidecars, and the Ural was copied from the pre-WWII BMW R71 via IMZ.
Pictures have begun circulating of a new Chang Jiang prototype, featuring a 650cc twin cylinder engine sourced from CF Moto. The 650 twins’ 70hp is huge compared to the 32hp of the old OHV model.
A launch release of the New Chang Jiang sidecar was held last week in China. Here are a few more photo’s of the new Chang Jiang 650cc sidecar.
