Pipers valley road is a 5.6km gravel option to get from the summit road to the east end of Duvauchelle.
It works its way through farmland at the top section with a small amount of forest area at the bottom. Mostly of the track has good open visibility.
The sign at the summit road is labeled “stock route” but this is not to be confused with the Duvauchelle Stock Route at the West end of the bay.
