Pori Road is a scenic gravel ride that links the Pahiatua-Pongaroa Road with Route 52. On the Pahiatua-Pongaroa Road side the road starts off sealed before turning to gravel and is the recommended direction to travel the road as you get great views out across the valley once you’ve climbed up the hill.
