6km inland from Cheviot, Random Spur Road varies between gravel road through to dirt and grass farm track with views out over surrounding farmland.

In damp conditions the dirt and grass can be very slippery so caution is advised and ruts in the track can be present all year round.

Going from Ethelton end, you will see gate with “Private Driveway no Access”
Randon Spur Rd branches off to right just before this gate,, its covered in long grass at the moment, quite indistinct. Watch out for ruts in the long grass, would be tricky in the wet. Enjoy.

Open again. No issues with access. Links nicely with Kaiwara Rd & St Leonards Rd to make a nice alternate route between Cheviot & Culverden

Tried to ride this on 30/8/19. Encountered a 3 wire fence blocking access about 3/4 of the way along Random Spur Road after leaving Cheviot.
