Te Puke Quarry Road has many tight blind corners so be sure to stay on your side of the Road at all times. The road is used to by tourists and locals alike to access the Kaiate Falls so more than likely you will encounter at least one car coming the other way. The Kaiate Falls are at the top of the road and well worth a look if you don’t mind a short walk.

Te Puke Quarry Road offers great views of the Papamoa Hills, Mt Maunganui and Tauranga harbour and is only 15-20 minutes out of central Tauranga.

I was up on Te Puke Quarry road today and the surface is in good condition but there’s lots of corrugations in the corners.

A short diversion up a dead end road off Te Puke Quarry Road, Reid Road I think? resulted in some views.
