Te Uri Rd is a two track gravel road that climbs over the hills that divide southern Hawkes Bay and Manawatu. It travels through hilly farmland, native and plantation forestry. Nice views at East end over Mangaorapa and Porangahau.
The West end of Te Uri Road can be reached by twisty seal roads from Dannevirke or Ormondville.
