Titirangi Road starts at Kenepuru Head where the seal ends. It then winds its way for 25km to the far reaches of the Marlborough sounds taking in some wonderful views to finally drop down into Titirangi Bay itself.
There is a well priced campground there, but due to the isolation you will have to bring anything you need with you at it’s a long way from any supplies. It is also a working farm, so you will likely encounter stock after you cross the cattle stop.
There are some other roads to explore but they are all in and out. It may seem like a long way to back track but even the 42km of tar back to Linkwater is just turn after turn of great riding.

Wow!
Went most of the way out there a few years ago on my DL. Got myself a little lost and didn’t really know how much further the road went or if I was gonna have the fuel to get back. Would have made it easy 🙁
Campground is still open ?
I saw a post the other day where someone had camped out there.
It’s a nice spot, checked it out on our way from the Dusty Butt last year: https://banditrider.blogspot.com/2020/02/dusty-butt-chronicles-part-6.html
Has anyone been out here since the storm? MDC say take at own risk?
