Someone finally killed Woodman’s KLR

@woodman wasn’t kind to his KLR, it had a hard life and it spent a lot of it’s life upside down or in places even a KLR probably shouldn’t go. But no matter what he did to it the red KLR just kept on going.

Well recently the KLR was retired from Woodman’s service and sold on to another rider, and in a few months the new owner managed to do what years of abuse from Nigel couldn’t, the new owner killed it dead.

R.I.P the red KLR.

The remains could be a good buy for an existing owner at the right price. It’s got a 785cc kit in it from memory, plus fork upgrades, big tank and I can’t remember what else.

Yeah, thanks for the trip down memory lane Eddie.

Certainly was a great bike and suffered a helluva lot of abuse like you say.

yeah its got a shitload of mods. 685cc intiminators, forkbrace, progressive springs, ims tank, raising links, ricor shocky, quite a few carby mods, thermobob vapordash etc etc etc.

Frame is probly bent now, considering the forks have snapped off.

Fond memories indeed
