From time to time I have need to tow 3 bikes, my DR650, Jennifers DR250, and daughters DRZ-125. I’m selling my little single bike trailer so that I can put the money into a larger trailer that will take all 3 bikes, but I’m after a strandard trailer than can also be used for domestic duties. I was thinking of top and tailing the 3 bikes so that the 250 and 650 face forward, and the 125 in between them facing backward.
The DR is 2.4 metres long which means I need a 8 foot bed trailer as 8 foot =2.44 metres, but would a 4 foot/1.22m trailer be wide enough or do I need a 5 foot/1.52m?
Does anyone know anything good bad or otherwise about these trailers on trademe? they look the same as anything sold by the ‘name’ companies for $500 more.
