Someone asked if ok for big bikes….
I did the a lot of the north Taranaki back roads end of summer, two up on our Vstrom. They were great. The section from the north end up to the kiwi road tunnel was by far the most difficult bit, but I would say ok on any bike if taken carefully. Wouldn’t like to meet a fourwheel drive coming down though! Everything else was really cruisey, stock on the road was our biggest issue.
The road from Aria through to Ohura was fantastic. Will find the name and post it here.
