Howdy all.
To cut along story short, me and my partner were starting to learn to ride trails, was proud of my self getting from the Paraparaumu side, to upper hut side of the Maungakotukutuku ranges. And now I don’t have a riding partner..
I got into this to do adventure rides, I have my self a cheap Yamaha moto-x bike and would love to do some longer trips with some like minded people that aren’t to difficult while I still learn.
One big question I have, do most of these rides require a road registered bike? I’m not a fan of road riding, I have a performance car for that 🙂

Gravel roads, sealed roads and beaches are classed as roads and require a registered bike with current wof. You could just put the rego on hold though. Kinda naughty but it’s a RIP off anyway so justified.
Ah so new bike time, also means i need road gear as well right, and a licence damn it
