It seems the North Island has it’s own version of the South Islands famous Mouraki Boulders.
Located 7km South of Mangaweka, the Whitecliffs Boulders are on a private farm but you can see them, for a small fee to cover access to the private land. It’s a 2km walk from the carpark to the boulders
Access is only open from October to July as the Whitecliffs Boulders are located on a working farm and are located in an area that in winter gets a lot of rain and snow.
You can find out more on the http://www.whitecliffsboulders.co.nz/ website.
