and don't discount EBR (buell predecessor)

Buell was unceremoniously canned by the dicks at HD since it was outshining their dated tech and sales with real performance, engineering, and customer service. So Erik Buell bounced back with EBR (erik buell racing) in 2012. After the 1190RS, a limited edition (100made) racebike was flaunted and raced successfully, 2 of 3 production models were made (RX sportbike and SX naked streetfighter) based on the same design. Hero Motorcorp, who bought 25million of shares, then backed out of the deal, some say on purpose, after receiving engineering work and design on the Hero Hasteur. This put EBR and Erik Buell into receivership once again, much to the disappointment of worldwide loyal fans/riders. Many, like myself, were eagerly awaiting the 1190AX adventure touring machine that was never quite made.

But all is not lost…

Some new developments are afoot, and it seems like either a single party or a conglomerate may just be about to buy up all that is EBR and keep it going. Fingers crossed and with baited breath we wait. More to follow soon (we hope!)
