Automatic chain oilers – Whats good?

There’s a lot of them out there from the vacuum fed Scottoiler to manual push button units, GPS tracked units, wind powered, electronic and probably others I haven’t found yet.

What can you recommend?

I’m aware some riders don’t like them and I’m not interested in that argument, I’m only interested in hearing about what units people have had experience with.

I have used the vacuum fed Scottoiler for the last three years with no complaints easy to fill and adjust not to expensive to but it dose not mind the off road stuff and i have not had to oil my chain since i got it just clean the chain when its dirty. only con is i do get a lot of oil on my rear rim but this is probably because i have it set on a little high around town but i don’t want my chain to rust in the rain etc so i bear with having to clean my bike every 2 weeks from around town riding

‘+1 for scott oiler. Just need to do a bit of guesswork on the rate adjustment tho since its not very well marked or rubs off

I have a Scottoiler which was fitted to my DR but wasn’t working, it came unfitted with another bike years back. I’m not sure if the diaphragm or something has gone or whether the vacuum line from the carb wasn’t working properly for some reason.
