The track starts at the Tasman Glacier Park and is signposted as the route to the Ball Hut.

Hi Emile. Can you still ride to the hut if you are determined. Last time i rode to Ball hut was 1974 on my ts185. Busses use to take tourist up to look at Tasman glacier. Also you get a great view of Mt Cook.I intend heading in that direction for Bike Week.Cheers Greg
Really wondering how the end point looks like. Should be great as you should indeed see Mt Cook. I hope I can come back one day (I live in the Netherlands). Cannot however see how busses could take this road. Or it should be 4×4 busses.
