I’m considering downsizing from my Safari 30+ litre tank to a 18-25 litre IMS/Acerbis. I’ve put 35 litres in it and it wasn’t empty.
The reality is that due to my health the trip I built my DR650 up for is never going to happen so as much as I like it I don’t need it, and a smaller tank would make the bike a bit easier to ride for me.
I’d trade it for a used preferably blue, or white IMS/Acerbis 18-25 litre tank and some cash my way.
It’s done the Trans America Trail and quite a few tracks in NZ so it’s scratched up and not for show pony bikes. It’s got the supporting bracket and bolts, 2 mismatched fuel taps, and fuel hoses to join up with your existing fuel hose.
