Just like using a social network like Twitter or Facebook, other members can now be tagged in your posts by using an @ symbol followed by the members name. When you tag another member they will be sent an email notification advising they have been tagged in a post to their registered email address.
When you enter the @ symbol start typing the members name and a popup list of names will appear containing those letters. Keep typing untill the full member name comes up and then click on it, as shown below.
If you aren’t happy with how your name comes up, I have started a Username Change request thread where you can request a change of username.
