ProCycle group buy

Hello,
First time posting here, 3 weeks fresh with a DR650.

Anyway, I’m looking at buying a few things off the ProCycle website and I was wondering if anyone else would like to get in on that order and we can split postage?
I’m in Hamilton and it would get delivered to my workplace in Te Rapa. I would prefer local people who can collect as I don’t want to worry about forwarding on postage (I may hand deliver if you’re somewhere that’s a nice ride from Hamilton).

I’m probably in. I know there’s one thing I’ll get. I’ll have to look at the site and see if there’s anything else.

?

I’ll probably be putting the order in sometime between the 10th – 17th of this month, gives me a bit of time to do my research.

I am after warp 9 4 finger levers, .52 front springs n cogent DDCs. I live in whakatane so decent ride for me to collect. Are you trying to keep under GST limit?
No panic if I miss out because postage gets silly. Contact procycle for cheaper shipping options.
Is is cheaper postage wise n whatnot from these guys?

Be careful buying and sending anything to a business address. Why? Regardless of the GST thing, I got stung just because it was a business address, doesn’t matter with the e-mail explanation…I said because of security of an empty house etc, they didn’t want to know. It was a business, so pay the extra fees…

I’d like a pair of Mirror extenders and a clutch holding tool.

I’ve been experimenting with where wind noise is coming from for a quieter ride and for me there a lot of air coming off the inside of the mirrors straight into the front quarter of my helmet on each side.

Ok, after looking at the other site (thanks brainflex), that site has some good prices for some things.. not so for others. I’ll probably still put an order through Procycle, if it comes in at more than $1000 then I’ll go and get a supplier code. but we’ll have to accept the %15 GST.

‘@Edward Is that the EBC lazer cut one($16.95) or the clamping($25.95) one?

Im just adding everything to a spreadsheet now to get an initial idea

For the DR650 I’d go for: a Magnetic Drain Plug (cannot find M14 x 1.25 pitch in NZ!) and a No Toil Air Filter. Cheers.

Cheers chasio, i’ll add to the list.

I picked up a new handlebar over the weekend, and I’m focused on sorting my full license this week. But I’ll aim to have the order confirmed with everyone by the end of the week.

Hows the order going?

Hello,
Sorry to bail on everyone here.
The bike took a slide on the road, work got busy and I got scared away by the regulations around importing stuff.

I wish I could say I’m back and willing to make an order, however there’s a new forum post on the way in which I will explain my new predicament..
