I have just booked my flight out to NZ and I am planning to be touring through the end of December till the end of January if anyone’s about for a ride or two I would welcome some local knowledge.
I will be flying into Christchurch and going down to Gore to start at the bottom so to speak

When in Gore, DON’T miss the De Havilland Aircraft restoration works/ Croydon Airfield in Mandeville, just a short ride north of Gore. Absolutely fabulous!! Make sure the check out the restoration workshops, they’re stunning even to those who’ve got nothing to do with aircraft/ mechanicals etc.

I’m back in the UK now (unfortunately) and could of quite easily stayed longer and continued riding after doing 5300 miles in 27 days of riding on the South Island.
Great time, great place and great people who just want to see you having a good time, deep sigh missing the place
