Spotted by one of my workmates in Lower Hutt this morning, a very tidy BSA Lightning with fully enclosed sidecar.
I remember seeing that outfit on Trademe a couple of years back.
It was at the Cold Kiwi in 2012 also.
I saw 2 sidecars heading south down SH1 at about Manurewa today, unfortunately as I was driving I didn’t get a good look at them.
How about this car Guy’s & Gal’s. Makes yur mouth water !

Col Mere spotted this unit at the top of the Okuku Pass near Christchurch a few days ago.
Apparently it’s a DR500 that’s done about 140,000km
This little outfit was parked in Hamilton today.
Not a sidecar but I was in Wellington recently and noticed that the Mussel Bar on Manners Street uses a sidecar in their logo.
This unit was spotted at the Burt Munroe Rally in the South Island earlier this year.

Thanks, I thought I had a left side Chang Jiang sidecar lined up last week but the seller has since disappeared with comments that it may have been dodgy.

Here’s a couple of kiwi sidecars that popped up on Facebook. I like the K100 with the GS front end.
Hi, The bikes above are our mates K750 and one of our LS650 combo’s. We 3 were just out for a blat up some of the back roads in the Manawatu ( on Ridge Rd at this time ). We’ve got some great back roads in this country and I don’t think it matters how you get to see them. Our friend on the 750 is a new convert to the fold where as I’ve had side cars for about 30 years. Great site, hope to visit more!
