If you are an existing www.FlyingtheChair.co.nz member you’ll have noticed that New Zealands Sidecar forums have moved to a new location.
The Flying The Chair website has been incorporated into it’s own section of www.AdventureRidingNZ.co.nz. You can still get here using the www.flyingthechair.co.nz and www.flyingthechair.com addresses and this will continue.
Why have we done this?
This change puts the website onto a more stable platform and has the potential to allow more features, better maintenance and more exposure, and as the old site was built on older forum software that wasn’t being regularly updated by the vendor there were performance and security risks and it was difficult to maintain and grow.
All of the existing forum threads have been moved to this new home, as have all of the user accounts.
How do I log into this new site?
To log into the new site for the first time use your www.flyingthechair.co.nz username as your username and password. Once logged in your name will appear in the right hand menu, clicking on your name will take you to your profile page where there is an option to update your password, we recommend you do this straight away.
If the email address you used to register with Flying The Chair is the same email address you use for your Facebook or Google+ account you can click on the Facebook or Google+ icons and use your social networking login to access Flying The Chair as well, we still recommend you change your password as soon as you are logged in though.
An email with this information was sent to users on 15/01/2105, if you didn’t find it check your spam folders, just in case.
