I had plans for a number of trips over this summer including the central plateau for the 42nd Traverse, Fishers track and others, Northland for Baylys Beach/Poutu Point, Coromandel and where ever else but I’ve just been given a medical diagnosis that sees me out of riding anything uneven or rough for the immediate future.
That means I won’t be organising any off road events or rides unfortunately, luckily I am allowed to road ride still so thats where I will be for the time being, still on the DR.
That doesn’t mean site members can’t organise anything themselves, there’s 80 of you now and that number is growing at a steady pace and you are welcome to use the forums here to organise rides or get togethers, and to tell everyone about it afterwards, thats what this site is for.
In the meantime i think I’ll work on getting my sidecar hooked up to the DR to try something new, and as soon as I am able I’ll be back on the gravel and lumpy stuff.
