Always a great event, though my experience was more of a 60-70% finish rate.

Epic events told me this year at the finish line outing that only 30% finish the whole DB1K trail every year. You would figure they would know, running it and all. Pretty bold statement. That’s where I got it from.

Would you do it again?

Yes doing it next year. With a new suspension and seat though. And handle bar risers. and lights. lol. Should have just bought a KTM!

Not sure yet, but you ride the 1200gs??

No I ride a 2007 KLR 650. The red one.

In other news I was asked to take this version of the video down by the promoters because it has the word “race” in it a few times. Once I edit in the word “ride” throughout, I will re render for 12 hours then upload for another 14 and get it out to you guys once again.

Turns out 70% of people finish. Edward was right. 30% either skip out and cheat trails or get hauled out.

12 hours rendering is pretty serious, sounds like a good excuse for a newer gruntier PC.
