This patent has just been submitted by Honda’s Chinese joint-venture Wuyang-Honda.
Honda has already got an adventure-style machine based on the same 184cc, 15.8hp platform, the CBF190X Fight Hawk, however, this design is quite different in a number of ways, including mimicing the larger Honda NC range, where the CBF190X Fight Hawk mimics the CRF1000L Africa Twin.
On it’s 25th anniversary of Honda’s joint venture with Wuyang-Honda Honda has launched the bike shown in the patent picture above dubbed CB190X and bearing ‘Tourism’ on the tank.
Oddly, Honda already makes another adventure-style bike around the same engine and chassis, the CBF190X Fight Hawk, however the Fight Hawk keeps the sportier USD forks of the CB190R as well as the CB190R’s underbelly exhaust, so probably has a little less off-road ability than this new CB190X Tourism.
