After going into Receivership a few months ago Cycletreads now has a new owner and has reopened.
The store has been re-stocked and existing loyalty cards are still valid and will be honoured by the new owners.

How can this be? For the last two issues of Kiwi Rider online mag, this full page advert has appeared yet Cycletreads web site has vertually no Michelin tyres available. There is talk of NZ currently being without a Michelin motorcycle tyre importer. No news at all on Michelin NZ site. As you may guess, I’m hanging out for a new tyre!
Because Michelin was distributed in New Zealand by Northern Accessories who also went bust and are not part of the Cycletreads deal.
Darbi have just been appointed as the new Michelin motorcycle tyres distributor in New Zealand in the last week or so but presumably new stock is not here yet.
