Following on from the recent Adventure Trikes video, Can Am have just announced the release of a new Adventure 3 wheeler.
While the Can-Am Ryker was originally marketing as an adventure model the ground clearance wasn’t really any more than the road models. The Canyon gets 160mm of ground clearance compared to the Rykers 122mm with much more suspension travel front and rear.
There’s 3 variations with the base model coming without the luggage pictured here. The middle XT version gets the luggage and a self leveling rear shock with air preload adjustment, and the full monty Redrock version gets the self leveling rear shock plus semi active front suspension.
All 3 models are powered by Can-Ams 1330cc, 115hp, 130Nm, 3 cylinder engine with 6 speed semi automatic transmission and reverse gear.
The Canyon is far from light at 452kg, but given that its got 3 wheels if you are trying to pick it up you’ve got bigger issues going on. On top of the luggage option the Canyon can also tow up a trailer up to 180kg in weight.
