we (family of 4 on 3 bikes) are doing the Molesworth to Hanmer Spring early next week, would you recommend Jollies Pass road or Clarence Valley road to get there. We are looking for easy !

Personally I would recommend Jollies Pass over Jacks Pass/Clarence Valley road. Jacks would be “easier,” but Jollies is not “hard.” From last time i done it I would best describe it as a forestry road, bit bumpier, lighter on maintenance a few water channels across the road, but nothing untoward. I would give it a nudge, and if things get dicey just turn back and go the other way 🙂
