Images can now be attached to posts!

I’ve updated the forum software to allow your images to be uploaded as part of your posts, and ‘The Rules‘ have been updated to reflect this.

Below is an extract from ‘The Rules‘ covering the new image attachment feature.

Embedding Images
Adventure Riding NZ provides the ability to include images within posts. Images can be no more than 350kb in size and 3 images can be attached per post. Attached images will appear as thumbnails below the post once your post is submitted.
If you wish for your images to appear within the body of your post then once you have submitted your post and the thumbnails have appeared, right click over each thumbnail you should be able to copy the image URL, and while editing your post you can insert the image where you would like it to appear using the button at the top of the text box.

If you wish to include larger images in your post they should be hosted on an external hosting service. If you have a Google+ or Gmail account then Google+ Photos gives you 15 GB of online storage space for free, a Hotmail or Skydrive account provides 7gb of free online storage, and an Apple icloud account provides 5gb of free online storage, all of which could be used to host your own images. A Facebook gallery with ‘Public’ access level may also work.
Embedded images hosted on an external site can be of any size.
