Looking for tire recommendations for a KTM 390 Adventure suitable for trails such as the Berm Buster (Taupo), KTM NZ Adventure Rally (or equivalent type ride/Rally). Appreciate any advice from those familiar with such rides etc….Cheers Duncan

Hi not sure how recent your post is, however I can contribute.
I purchased a near new, 2nd hand 390 fitted with shinko 804/805 adventure tyres.
Great hold and ride on tar seal for a tyre like this, although a little noisy.
Great on gravel, dirt and single, track. Opens the 390 to off road riding. Down side average milage 4,500km on the rear as you’ll want to drift it everywhere off road! And terrible in mud, front wash’s out and the rear spins to easy.
I’ve just replaced my rear with motoz adventure tractionator. It’s a step above the 805, similar price and improved in the mud. Shortly I’m going to install a AX41 on the front, I will update you on that if you’re interested.
