Take care out there folks, in separate incidents 2 motorcyclists died on New Zealand roads on Sunday of this last weekend.
According to Ministry of Transport data, 18 motorcyclists have died on our roads so far in 2024, and that’s not including the 2 incidents on Sunday. During the same period in 2022 and 2023, 13 had been killed.
The first crash, which also involved a car, happened on Ohautira in Raglan shortly after 2pm. The motorcyclist died at the scene, police said.
The second crash, involving a single motorcyclist, happened about 6pm on Oruarangi Rd, in the Auckland suburb of M?ngere.
