I had some good results in reducing vibrations by adding:
Rox Anti-Vibration Elite 2″ Pivot Risers
Pro Grip 714 Dual Sport Grips
BarkBusters handguards
I installed the “Rox Anti-Vibration Elite 2″ Pivot Risers” first and took it for a ride, vibrations reduced by what felt like 10% but the ergonomics was much improved with the 2” higher bars.
I then added the ‘Pro Grip 714 Dual Sport Grips’ they are softer, thicker then the original grips, I also added the barkbusters which I think act like bar end weights to reduce vibration further.
Overall it feels like vibrations reduced by 60% at lower revs and 40% at higher revs.

Hi Jaco
How bad is the 690 compared to the 640?
I rode a 640 around a petrol station carpark once and that was far enough!
I don’t know, I had a ktm 390 duke previously.
🙂
Thats right. Now there’s one bike I’d like to see an enduro or adventure version of.
KTM 390 Adventure?
