Might go out Saturday or Sunday. Plan is to check out that road just south of Kihikihi and maybe track it.
Monday/Tuesday wife and I taking the 4WD to bush lodges in Coro for the night. Want to drive it up to the Whitestar summit.
I’m interested in a day ride on Sunday. Metservice says it’s going to rain though.
I’m heading out 10-ish, or as soon as after that. I might just do a road ride down the west side of the Waikato River then onto Tirau and the Okoroire pub.

I was well gone by the time you posted that sorry Aaron.
I decided on the day to head down the West side of the Waikato River and back up the other side.
First stop was the Karapiro Dam.
Followed by Arapuni Dam
Across the river I shot over to Putaruru to check out the gate that has been installed on Leslie Road.
Which was followed by lunch at the Okoroire Pub
After lunch it was backroads back to Hamilton via a few sights on the way
