I’m going to need a new rear tyre soonish. Does anyone have recommendations for a budget friendly 80/20 tyre?
Currently running Michelin Anakee Wild but in reality they are way more aggressive than I need so looking for something more road orientated as I also commute to work almost daily on the bike.
Something like the Shinko E705, but not the 705. I’ve run them on other bikes and didn’t like them. I would have gone for a Mitas E-07 but they go for serious money now.
The R100GS takes a 130/80/17 tubeless rear tyre.
I’m still looking into this, I have maybe another 2000km to decide what I want next.
The Kenda K761 looks interesting but I cant find anyone listing them for sale in NZ.
I’ve settled on a Dunlop K850A, mainly due to Availability. We’ll see how it goes.
